HALLOWEEN IS HERE!!! (in America)

 

Today people in America celebrate the one "spooky" day , called Halloween. They make everything look scary and they play the game "trick or treat". How to play it? It's easy. Children go to different houses and they knock the door saying " trick or treat?". The person who opens the door and give the dressed up  children candy,  they better have some candy in their house, otherwise the children will "trick" them and make them feel scared because of their "scary" costumes. People who don't live in America, but still have lived there, will find it strange, when the 31th of October comes, but nobody celebrates Halloween!

TOMORROW WE CELEBRATE THE DAY WE SAID "NO" TO THE ITALIANS (THIS DAY IS ON 28 OCTOBER)

   28 OF OCTOBER COMING IN ONE DAY! WE CELEBRATE THE "NO" WE SAID TO ITALIANS THAT WE DON'T WANT THEM TO CONQUER US! WE HAVE NO SCHOOL, NO WORK, ITS BASICALLY A DAY OFF FOR ALL THE GREEKS IN THE WORLD! ✌😀✌

MY BOOK REVIEW ABOUT ONE OF MY FAVORITE BOOKS : GOLDEN PADDLES

                                             GOLDEN PADDLES

         The book   "GOLDEN PADDLES'' is a book written by Maria Papagianni and she wrote it in 2020. This is a fantasy and adventure book , with beautiful meanings and lots of imagination in it. My favorite character is also the main character, called Iro. Her older sister, Lida, and her are both the main characters.

          These two sisters have a nice family, they live in a nice town, with lots of friends and relatives.  But suddenly, something goes wrong: The world war two starts and their dad goes to the battle. The girls have to leave their house, so their mum takes them to their village. A village that they have never been again. At first, they miss their family and find it a bit strange, because this village was in the middle of nowhere! It wasn't near the sea, they could only see mountains and mountains all around. But slowly, they started to get used to it. They also found their mother's diary in a cupboard and they learned lots of things from the past, that they never knew and they used to ignore. They also made new friends, girls and boys and they all try to find out what went wrong, when the girl's mum was young. They will find out that when their mother was young, some men took their grandmother, Martha, and somehow murdered her. The girls didn't mind about that, but Iro had a REALLY sad secret, that she didn't know how to tell Lida...

        When I read the book, I got really surprised! This book  is really amazing and it's for all ages too! At first, I thought that their grandpa was a bad man, but at the end, he did something really brave. I won't tell you what it was, so you can go and find it out yourself, when you read the book.😊😊😊
